Introducing Chris Straugheir:
Chris Straugheir is an Osteopath registered with the Osteopathic Council of NZ , and is a member of the Osteopathic Society of NZ.
Chris has been in full time practice since 1988, working mainly in Raumati and in Tawa, serving the community with general Osteopathy.
Chris has a special interest in Cranial Osteopathy, and has focussed his training on working with children, and on working with chronic disease.
Qualifications:
Chris graduated from the NZ College of Osteopathy in 1988, and completed a Graduate Diploma in Clinical Osteopathy from RMIT Melbourne, in 2001.
He also has a Diploma of Naturopathy from the NZ College of Naturopathy (1987), and a Diploma of Classical Homoeopthy from the Wellington College of Homoeopathy (1996).
Chris’s interest in Cranial Osteopathy began in 2000 when he attended a course run by the Cranial Academy USA in Phoenix Arizona. In 2001 Chris attended his first course in Biodynamic Cranial Osteopathy, and has been attending courses in Biodynamic Cranial Osteopathy each year since then.

The Raumati Osteopathic Clinic provides General Osteopathic Treatment and Cranial Osteopathy for a wide variety of conditions. Chris is also available for appointments at his Tawa Clinic
The clinic is run by Chris Straugheir, a registered Osteopath of 28 years experience, who also has a special interest in chronic disease, and Cranial Osteopathy.
The clinic provides ACC treatment and general treatment for lower back pain/neck pain/headaches/cranial problems, and much more.
